Research: ENEA and CoPER at the Quirinale for Italian research day around the world

On the occasion of Italian Research Day Around the World, President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella met at the Quirinale with the Council of Presidents of Public Research Bodies (CoPER), including ENEA President Francesca Mariotti. The meeting with the delegation, led by Minister of Universities and Research Anna Maria Bernini, highlighted the role of scientific research in shaping the country’s future.

Every year since its establishment in 2018 by the Ministry of Universities and Research, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Ministry of Health, the initiative showcases the broad spectrum of research and high-impact contribution of Italy to international science. This year, CoPER President Antonio Zoccoli outlined the activities and key achievements of Italian research institutions and their tireless commitment to the country’s scientific, technological and economic development.
