Research: New ENEA board of directors takes office

The new ENEA board of directors officially took office. President Dr. Francesca Mariotti, together with board members Eng. Michele Ennas, Dr. Massimo Iannetta, Prof. Gian Piero Joime, and Dr. Claudio Pioli —the latter elected by ENEA researchers and technologists— took charge of guiding, planning and supporting the Agency’s activities, in full compliance with the political-administrative mandate entrusted to the board.

With renewed momentum and vision, ENEA reaffirms its role as a strategic reference point for research, technological innovation, and the nation’s competitive development, serving citizens, businesses and institutions.

We are called upon to face challenges of historic scope: energy security, support for industrial competitiveness, and a steadfast commitment to research and innovation.
